About Us

"SWiLL" stands for "Swansea in Llundain". It is a fast growing society for Swansea Jacks and Jills who are now living or working in London. SWiLL also aims to be inclusive-reaching out to anyone with an interest or love for Swansea

Anyone born or schooled in the area defined by the modern day City and Council of Swansea - an area including, for instance, Gower and Gorseinon - may join. We also welcome others with close affinities to Swansea.

If you want to join us then we will be happy to have you as a member.

What all members of SWiLL have is a continuing attachment to the ugly, lovely town and a desire for it to prosper. Whether it be a desire to do business in Swansea or simply to get the inside track on the best places to go, being in contact with other people who share these goals must be a boon.

We are often not great business networkers – something SWiLL will hopefully help remedy. We tend to be sociable types and enjoy a drink or two and a good laugh.

One of the great things about SwiLL is that whilst two members may start off not knowing each other they will invariably share some common ties, whether these be mutual friends, both being there when the Queen opened the Leisure Centre or an enjoyment of the same toppings on their Joe's Ice Cream. From the epic to the mundane, the glorious to the pathetic; we are all bound by the same past in our hometown, which has helped shape the people we are today.

In short, SWiLL is intended to be different things to different people, all of whom are united by work in London and some strong attachment to Swansea and its surroundings.
